A Beach Tent for Everyone

A beach tent can keep you cool and protected during that beach trip when you are not out enjoying the sun.  You can find a canopy tent to provide you shade or cover during an unexpected rain shower or just get a little privacy during your down time.  Most beach tents are inexpensive.  Many cost between $30 and $80.  However, if you so choose, you can look into tent rentals at the beach for an easy to set up pop up tent.

You could also invest in your own beach tent if you know you will need it for a long time.  There are many tents available from manufacturers such as Abo Gear, Eureka, giga tent, Mac Sports, North Face, Stansport and Texsport.  You might also find some very kid friendly tents appropriate for the beach with Pacific Play Tents.

A Vango tent might be a good option for those who need something specialized like a 8 man tent or a 4 man tent.  This brand carries various lines that accommodate such needs.  Of course, you will pay more than you would for a conventional beach tent, but you must decide if this is the type of investment you can make.

For instance, Vango has the Apollo 500 tent that features fire retardant fabrics, taped seams and the trademarked Protex 2000 polyester flysheet.  There are many other practical features in this particular model including a breathable fabric inner tent with a partly mesh door, clear windows with internal covers, color coded poles, flysheet mesh vents, heavy duty pole sleeves, inner pockets, a lantern loop, trademarked Powerflex fiberglass poles, reflective webbing and reinforcement points among others.  Not only is this tent strong enough to stand up to the beach, but you can also use it for camping or other shelter if you need.

Vango has other models such as the Ultralite 200 that has a unique shape and is made for lightweight travel.  The flysheet door can be partially opened to provide extra ventilation and zips to protect the inside from rain and other elements.  The high and low flysheet vents also create airflow and help make the inner environment more comfortable.  The hanging loop lets you store this tent on canoe paddles, trees or other suspended objects.  The reflective piping even helps you find your tent in the dark.  These are only a few of the features found on the Ultralite 200.

There are tents more kid friendly from companies such as Pacific Play Tents.  For example, the Under the Sea beach cabana can be used at the beach, indoors, at the park, by the lake or anywhere else.  This SPF 30 rated and UV treated tent also has a full mesh front that keeps insects off your child.  The mesh panels also create ventilation.  It also includes a corner sandbag to keep the tent stable on windy days and has shock-corded fiberglass poles.  The 70 Denier nylon is flame retardant while the polyethylene floor is durable and washable.  The beach cabana even has its own storage bag for easy transport and storage.

The Tripod beach tent is something the whole family can enjoy.  This design protects you and your family from the elements but still provides maximum ventilation.  The conical sand pocket pegs and guy ropes keep it stable during heavy winds.  The nylon fabric is coated with 150D PU and packs in its own carry bag.  The tall walls also add enough walking space for anyone.

Your beach tent can be both functional in keeping you protected from the sun and fun for others to look at if you choose.  Many options like a 3 man tent and the 6 man tent are affordable and can accommodate your needs whether you want something for your child or need to keep six people in one place.
